With a passion for art and travel, Noelle Hetz brings a wealth of experience to Carmel Art Tours. Before joining our team, Noelle spent 9 years developing and leading interpretive tours at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, where she honed her ability to bring artwork to life for diverse audiences.
Noelle’s love for art extends beyond the tour guide role; she actively immerses herself in the Carmel art scene and volunteers her time at the renowned Monterey Museum of Art. When not leading tours, Noelle and her husband, John, embark on culture-centered adventures around the globe, discovering new art and ideas from diverse corners of the world.
Noelle’s deep connection to both Carmel’s artistic legacy and the broader art world allows her to offer guests a personal and dynamic experience, whether in the galleries of Carmel or on a private tour of local artist studios.

Steve prefers to teach the fundamentals of photography through advanced techniques to show his students what they’re capable of, whether with a phone or more advanced gear, and firmly believes in having fun.
An accomplished fine art and commercial photographer of more than 35 years, Steve has won numerous awards for his architecture, street, abstract and portrait photography including placing first place in Nature and third place Photographer of the Year in the International B&W Spider Awards.
Steve designs weeklong photography camps for children and conducts photography workshops along the scenic Monterey Bay and Big Sur coastlines, and Salinas Valley vineyards. He has been recognized by Black&White magazine for his iphoneography and was a guest lecturer at the Center for Photographic Art on aerial photography.
